MIAMI VALLEY — Rumpke has announced that they are adjusting their trash pickup start times due to today’s total solar eclipse.
The city of Trotwood announced on social media that Rumpke will start its trash collections earlier than normal.
They started their routes today at 2 a.m. to beat any traffic associated with the total solar eclipse.
They asked residents to place trash bins and materials at the curb the night before collection day.
Rumpke also started collecting trash and recycling early this morning in the Kettering, the city announced on its website.
Rumpke will resume normal route schedules on Tuesday, the city said.
