CLARK COUNTY, Ohio -- Improvements are slated at the scene of a fatal nine-car pile-up.

Bids for the signal improvements at Route 68 and Moorefield Road north of Springfield will go out in September, with completion scheduled by December 1st.

Officials say that intersection was designated the second most dangerous in Clark County before the mishap that killed three Urbana University students in March, 2007.

Thirteen injury crashes--including one fatality--occurred there between 2004 and 2006.
