Meet Jack Gridley, Host Of Food Talk
Discover how good the "center of the plate" can be with Jack Gridley, Meat and Seafood Director for Dorothy Lane Market. Jack is the host of the new "Ask The Expert" show, Saturdays at 12 noon, on News Talk 1290 WHIO radio.

A familiar, friendly face behind the meat counter, Jack Gridley has been a member of the DLM family for 30 years. With a strong passion for great quality food, Jack believes making the "center of the plate" healthy, exciting, and a pleasure to eat.

An avid outdoorsman, Jack enjoys hunting and fishing. He has traveled extensively – to Alaska where he has worked on boats alongside salmon fishermen; out West where he has spent numerous weeks in a saddle on working cattle ranches; and to Italy, which is one of his very favorite parts of the world.

Jack has spearheaded many of our creative initiatives during his years at DLM, in areas ranging from our Internet site to our high-quality prepared foods. He was instrumental in bringing natural foods to DLM twenty years ago before "clean foods" were trendy. Jack's mission at DLM is to "help our customers be knowledgeable and successful in preparing products by offering the best quality natural meat and seafood available to our customers".

DLM is pleased to offer a group of sauces, marinades, and rubs with our own label that we believe will enhance our exceptional meats and seafood. We named them "Jack's Grill" in honor of Meat & Seafood Director Jack Gridley.

Jack and his wife Judy are the proud parents of three daughters and one granddaughter and are longtime residents of Bellbrook.
