Vore Will Not Run For Re-Election

DAYTON, Ohio -- Montgomery County Sheriff Dave Vore will not be a candidate for re-election.

Vore made the official announcement Monday to the Board Of Elections that he would not seek re-election. It leaves the Montgomery County Republican Party searching for a replacement for the upcoming November ballot. The party's central committee will meet later this week and may have a candidate by Thursday night.
