Teen Girl Assaulted-- School Locked Down

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-- Authorities in Springfield said a 13-year-old, home sick from school, was assaulted by two masked men inside her home. The home invasion happened on East Euclid Avenue around 10:30 a.m. today.
Police said that two masked men broke into the house through a back window. Once inside, police said, the men found the teenage girl inside one of the bedrooms.
At approximately 10:45 a.m. a Springfield City Police officer entered South High School and notified school administrators that he thought the burglary suspect was seen approaching the school. Police said South High School was locked down while officers searched for the suspects.
Classes resumed as normal. One person is in custody at this time.
