SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Some good economic news in one local county.
A new report indicates Clark County's sales tax revenue is up 2 to 3 percent over this time last year. But officials warn it's too early to know if that will continue. The tax increased a half-percent January 1st, but Assistant County Administrator Nathan Kennedy says people seem to be buying more and retail receipts for vehicles and other goods are up. But property sales are down by 126.
