Springfield Fireworks A Go

SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- The fireworks will continue in Clark County.

Clark County Commissioner John Detrick and Springfield City Commissioner Kevin O'Neill announce 85 individuals and businesses have contributed over $25,000 needed for the annual event. National Trail Parks and Recreation District officials considered cancelling the fireworks due to budget concerns. O'Neill believes over $35,000can be raised before the July 3rd event, with extra dollars going to next year's fireworks.
