03/18/2008 05:53:58
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio -- Restaurant chain Quaker Steak & Lube, which has a local store in Beavercreek, says it is renaming its "Suicide" hot sauce
The move comes after complaints that the name is insensitive.
Among those who wrote the company is a member of a Canton support group for loved ones of people who have committed suicide.
The sauce will now be known as "SuperCharged."
The motorsports-themed restaurant said yesterday the name has already been changed at newly opened restaurants, including one in Canton. It will change at other restaurants with new menus planned in May.
The restaurant more than 20 locations in about six states.
