Northland Village Shooting Victim Identified

HARRISON TWP., Ohio-- Three shots were heard by neighbor Brittany Baskin on the 5100 block of Northcutt Place around 6 p.m. Sunday. Baskin says gunfire at the complex is common. "You probably hear gunshots five times a week," she said.
According to Montgomery County Sheriff's Chief Phil Plummer the man shot Sunday, May 11 is 26 year old LaQuan A. Sanford, of 99 Patterson Village Drive. Plummer said he died at about 4 a.m. Monday from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Plummer said sheriff's detectives are looking for Antonio M. Alford, 25, as a person of interest in the shooting. Alford is described as a young black male about 6 foot 2 and 200 pounds. He was last seen running from the scene of the incident in a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Sheriff's Capt. Scott Landis said Sanford went to two or three doors at the Northland Village apartment complex near South Dixie and Palisades drives looking for help before medics arrived.
