Investigations Continue on Columbine-style Plan

05/09/2008 16:24:29

SOUTH BEND, Indiana (AP) -- A magistrate in Indiana has agreed to continue the case of a teenager accused of planning a Columbine-style attack on his high school so psychological tests can be completed on whether he is a risk to himself or society.

The boy is charged in South Bend with a juvenile count of conspiracy to commit murder. Prosecutors said Friday they will wait until at least next month to decide whether to seek adult charges against him.

Authorities at northern Indiana's Penn High School say the teen had exchanged e-mails with an Ohio man in which they discussed mass murders at the same time at the teen's school and at another location.
