Dayton Bomb Squad Called In

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-- A Dayton bomb squad has been called to examine a mortar shell that was turned into the Springfield police earlier today, May 2.
Someone found the shell in a dumpster behind a business on East Main Street and brought it to the police division, an official said.
The police division has been taped off and public access denied as officials wait for the bomb squad.
