Biohazard Drill At Postal Service
05/08/2008 10:20:11
DAYTON, Ohio -- Don't panic if you see a good number of emergency responders around the U.S.Postal Service's Dayton Processing and Distribution Center on East Fifth Street this afternoon.
The Postal Service will, along with federal, state and local emergency and health responders, test their readiness to respond to a biohazard. The idea is to give emergency responders a little experience that could help them to make adjustments in the way they deal with an actual emergency, if one happens in the future.
Dayton Postmaster Darryl Myers says "all mail processing operations will continue and the exercise will have no impact on (the public's) mail delivery".
