Former Bengals House Auctioned After Failed Payments

FLORENCE, Kentucky (AP) -- The mortgage company that lent former Cincinnati wide receiver Chris Henry money to buy a house in Florence, Kentucky, has bought the home at a public auction.
The house was auctioned after Henry failed to make mortgage payments. It was valued at $360,000. Chase Home Finance offered the sole bid of $240,000 on the home in northern Kentucky.
Henry bought the house when he made his NFL debut with the Bengals in September 2005. The league has suspended Henry twice for gun and alcohol-related problems.
Last month, he was accused of punching an 18-year-old man in the head and throwing a beer can through his car window.
A judge modified a house arrest order to let Henry travel to other cities as he tries to revive his career after the Bengals released him April 3rd.
