Power Outage Disrupts Last Days Of School In Fairborn

FAIRBORN, Oh -- Students are off school for the next two days at Fairborn Primary School.
Contractors attempting to install fiber optic lines aimed at upgrading computer systems at the school apparently drilled into a power cable and reportedly blew out the school's electrical system.
According to Fairborn School Superintendent Dave Scarbury, there are only 2 days remaining in the school year at Fairborn Primary. The school has used up its' allotted number of calamity days, so it's unknown whether or if students will have to make up the missed days later.
Scarbury is asking parents for patience while the school figures out what to do next.
